The first section (Core: Basic physics of PET substrate + air permeability, suitable for pool filter cartridge processing and water circulation)
This 130g PET pool filter cloth features a lightweight and dense structure with a basis weight of 130 ±10% g/㎡ and a thickness of 0.3±0.1 mm. Leveraging the stable properties of PET, it perfectly adapts to the automated processing steps of filter cartridge manufacturing workshops, such as folding, winding, and heat sealing. During processing, the material has a uniform thickness and is not easily deformed, allowing for precise molding into pool filter cartridges of various specifications. Simultaneously, its air permeability of ≥2000 L/㎡・S, combined with the water resistance of PET, ensures efficient water flow in the filtration system, preventing increased load on the circulation pump due to water absorption and expansion of the filter media. After being manufactured into finished products, the filter cartridge manufacturer can widely use it in the water circulation systems of private pools, hotel pools, and spas as the core of primary filtration, achieving both rapid water circulation and initial interception of large particulate impurities.
The second section (core: the stiffness performance of the PET substrate, ensuring the stability of the filter element shape and filtration efficiency)
Leveraging the inherent rigidity of PET material, this filter cloth achieves excellent performance with a longitudinal stiffness of ≥250 mg and a transverse stiffness of ≥200 mg, providing durable three-dimensional support for pool filter cartridges. During the folding and molding process at the filter cartridge production base, the stiffness of PET material ensures clear folds and prevents deformation after folding, preserving the effective filtration area. In actual use in pools and spas, facing continuous water flow and pressure changes, the PET substrate resists media collapse, preventing the formation of filtration dead zones and ensuring full contact between pool water and the filter media. The finished filter cartridges are suitable for high-frequency use in commercial pools and hot spring spas, maintaining a stable primary filtration structure over the long term and reducing the frequency of filter cartridge replacement.
The third section (core: the tensile strength of the PET substrate, enhancing the filter element's resistance to water erosion and extending its service life)
Leveraging the high strength of PET material, this filter cloth achieves performance standards of longitudinal tensile strength ≥180 N/5CM and transverse tensile strength ≥150 N/5CM, exhibiting excellent resistance to water erosion and tearing. After being processed into finished products by pool filter manufacturers, the PET substrate remains resilient to damage and tearing from the continuous impact of pool water circulation, friction from hair and sediment, and the external forces exerted during backwashing and manual cleaning, fundamentally preventing impurity leakage. The finished filter cartridges are suitable for pre-filtration in various swimming pools and spas, effectively intercepting large particles such as hair, leaves, and sediment. Combined with the aging-resistant and corrosion-resistant properties of PET material, this significantly extends the filter cartridge's lifespan and reduces operating costs at the point of sale.
